Happy Father’s Day

Most of us can celebrate Father’s Day today with our dad. I was wondering what I can talk about today that would have a “father” theme to do with health. Well, I decided to tell you about prostate cancer. The odds of getting this cancer for men are about 1 out of 9 people in Canada (that is almost 10% chance). Chances increase over the age of 40 and even greater after age 65.

So, what can a man do to prevent this type of cancer? Well, there are some natural alternatives that you can try such as lycopene and saw palmetto. You can also get a general men’s supplement for prostrate health.

So, go on over to your nearest health food store or go online to National Nutrition.ca and look for products to help keep your prostrate healthy.

Also, make sure that your medical doctor orders you a blood test called PSA (prostate specific antigen) to screen for prostrate cancer. Do not panic if it comes up positive. Try one product for prostrate health for 30-60 days and then have the PSA test repeated if your doctor feels it is safe for you to do so.

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!
